51st Warrens Cranberry Festival comes to an end

WARRENS, Wis. (WKBT) -- The 51st Annual Warrens Cranberry Festival wraps up today, but the celebration isn't complete without the parade.

Thousands of spectators have gathered to enjoy marching bands, drill teams, and a mix of clubs and organizations.

Since its inaugural festival in 1973, which attracted over 3,000 attendees, this weekend is expected to welcome more than 100,000 visitors.

For many, it’s a special opportunity to support their loved ones in the parade.

"I'm very excited to see her. We had a lot of fun when she was in the parade for the Fourth of July, so this is a nice follow up to see how much the band has improved," said Steve Haug.

The festival’s mission is to promote the common good and welfare of the Warrens community. Over this three-day celebration, attendees can explore 800 arts and crafts vendors and 300 flea market booths.
