Kwik Trip announces new EV charging program

LA CROSSE (WKBT) -- A new fuel offering is coming to Kwik Trip locations across the Midwest.

On Monday, Kwik Trip announced their new Kwik Charge Program-- an initiative that aims to provide electrical vehicle owners with a fast and reliable fueling service.

The new program will bring direct current fast chargers (DCFC's) to a number of their stores. The chargers will have connectors for both Combined Charging Standard (CCS) and the North American Charging Standard (NACS), allowing most EV owners to charge at what Kwik Trip calls clean, safe and staffed 24/7 locations.

The program will also include an app that allows drivers to view locations, pricing and charging availability ahead of their stop.
