UPDATE: Galesville woman killed in two-vehicle crash Sunday

Authorities in Jackson County have released the name of the victim in Sunday's fatal crash.

80-year-old Mary Ladwig of Galesville was killed in the crash.

TOWN OF ALBION, Wis. (WKBT) -- One person is dead following a two-vehicle crash in Jackson County Sunday.

The Jackson County Sheriff's Office said the crash happened around noon on County Road C in the Town of Albion. Responders found two vehicles heavily damaged at the intersection of two county highways.

One of the vehicles involved had multiple people inside, most of whom were injured, according to the sheriff's office. One of those passengers died at the scene. It's unclear in what condition the occupant or occupants of the other vehicle are.

Names of those involved have not been released. The crash is still under investigation.
