Brookwood gets past Hillsboro in Scenic Bluffs thriller

After some very close sets, the Falcons extended their win streak to 10 matches in a row winning 3-2 over the Tigers.

Michelyn Hansen was the match leader in kills on the night as she poured in 19 for Hillsboro and Michelle Hora added 10. Hansen also had 29 digs while Kiana Liska led the team with 36.

For Brookwood, Reagan Muehlenkamp had a team-high 16 kills and Calista Zimmerman added in 11. Emily Cunitz was an efficient passer with 32 assists and Ruby Muehlenkamp had an impressive defensive showing with 45 digs.

The win for the Falcons moves them into second place in the Scenic Bluffs Conference with an 8-2 mark, the same as Hillsboro. Cashton leads with a 9-1 record against league foes.
