Transportation Roundtable addresses challenges in Wisconsin

LA CROSSE (WKBT) -- On Thursday, Local officials met to discuss transportation in Wisconsin.

The transportation development association hosted a roundtable in downtown La Crosse.

The event brought together civic leaders, industry experts, and advocates to address the state and region's transportation opportunities and challenges.

Officials discussed the area's transportation infrastructure accomplishments and ongoing projects and their impact on local communities and Wisconsin's economy.

"The important thing when it comes to transportation and getting involved is talking to your elected officials, whether that be at the city, the county, the state, or the national level. We all have a role to play, and we should let them know that transportation is important to us," said Debby Jackson, executive director of the Transportation Development Association of Wisconsin.

Several key speakers also attended, including La Crosse mayor Mitch Reynolds.
