Man pleads not guilty to harboring suspect in attempted homicide case

BLACK RIVER FALLS, Wis. (WKBT) -- A man accused of harboring an attempted homicide suspect pled not guilty Thursday.

45-year-old James Syverson was arrested in October of 2023 after an investigation revealed he was "harboring and intentionally interfering" with police efforts to locate and apprehend Anthony Sylvester IV.

Sylvester IV was accused of attempted 1st degree intentional homicide and home invasion.

Pamlea Lien was also arrested for conspiracy to harboring or aiding Sylvester.

Syverson's next court appearance is set for November 18.
