    October 20 - Overnight Forecast

WH AT WE A RE T RA C K I N G: Multiple locations will be nearing record high temperatures again to start the week off before a major cool down settles in by Wednesday.

NEXT 24 H OURS: High temperatures Sunday afternoon have skyrocketed into the low-80s across the area. That puts many locations nearly 25 degrees above average. As we go into the evening hours, temperatures will remain pleasant. Overnight lows will also be well above average in the mid to upper-50s across the area. Cloud coverage will increase into Monday morning, providing partly cloudy skies to start the day off. Temperatures will rise into the low-80s once again, providing the opportunity for recording breaking warmth once again. Winds will be out of the south at 10-15 mph, funneling up more warm air.

LOOKING AHEA D: Tuesday will be a bit cooler, staying in the mid-70s. A major temperature change comes Wednesday after a cold front moves through Tuesday night, bringing much cooler air and shower chances with it. Expect highs to fall back to near average (mid-50s). Showers associated with this frontal passage look to occur Tuesday night, remaining north of I-94. Accumulation also looks very light with less than 0.1 inches expected. Light shower chances exist for Thursday as well; however, these also have very low accumulation expected. Temperatures remain mild for the latter half of the week, as highs stay in the mid-60s.
