Bicycle thief from Santa Ana arrested in Irvine

Recently, a man heard a noise in his garage and realized his bike was being stolen, according to the Irvine Police Department.

The victim gave chase and caught the suspect. After a brief struggle, the man got his bike back from the suspect.

The suspect fled but was located by Irvine police officers in the area.

Paulino Pantojadiaz , 34, of Santa Ana, was arrested for burglary, robbery, and possession of a controlled substance. He was booked at Orange County Jail.
