It goes without saying that 2020 has been a year unlike any other. It was rough, to say the least, but we won’t get into that though. In about two weeks, 2020 will start being history. To end this tough year on a fun and upbeat note, we would like to invite all of you to participate in our Holiday Writing Contest!

News Break’s mission is to help people across the country live safer, more vibrant, more truly connected lives. Now more than ever, do we believe that it is important to support each other, show kindness and spread #nbholidaycheer.

How to Participate:

• All articles must include #nbholidaycheer at the end of the article.
• Articles must be previously unpublished.
• We encourage you to be creative for the article title, but articles not related to one of the above topics will not qualify.
• You can publish unlimited articles around the above topics.
• Articles must be successfully published before 10 PM PST on January 9th, 2021.

Duration:

This contest will run from December 15th, 2020 to January 9th, 2021.

The deadline is 10 p.m. January 9th, 2021. Dates and times are Pacific Standard Time (PST).

Rewards:

News Break Editorial Team will select multiple winning articles in all categories. Winners will be announced by the end of January 2021 via email and the News Break’s Creators account.

• Participating articles will be published and promoted on our app's Holiday Tab, our website's Featured page, and other News Break channels.
• Participating articles will also count towards your weekly/monthly goals.
• The authors of the winning articles will receive a $200 Cash Gift Card and cool swags from News Break.
