Contributors shared stories throughout the month of June about how their neighborhoods were commemorating LGBTQ+ communities, whether that be by hosting local events, like parades. They also published stories highlighting local LGBTQ+-owned businesses and local leaders, community members, or organizations whose work elevates local LGBTQ+ residents.

We received many great submissions to our June content campaign, but there were a few stories in particular that stood out among the rest. Read on to learn more about our June content campaign winners!

In the Editor's Pick category, Morristown Minute wins for its story "14 Free Resources for LGBTQIA+ Youth in New Jersey." From mentoring and support groups to hotlines and housing resources, the story provides useful and concrete information to people throughout the state seeking assistance.

In our Top Story category, which acknowledges the best performing stories in the contributor's area, contributor John Dabbs wins for his story, "Johnson Pride Community Center set to celebrate Pride Month with rainbow festival and drag shows." Our second winner in the Top Story category was contributor Matthew Woodruff for a story about how a local Florida polo club celebrated Pride with family-friendly matches.
