If you think that this generation of the developer's family actually cares about the residents of The Villages, you are sadly mistaken and in for a rude awakening at some point. I used to live in The Villages but I moved out a few years ago, and even though I've been fighting cancer for a year now, I am so glad that I moved out of The Villages. To me, I find it a weird place. I now live in the "historic district" of Clermont on one of the lakes and I could not be happier to be living in a place with a mix of ages, people of varying cultural make up and with REAL history, not a faux, made up one.
