The regional winner advances to the state tournament next week in Georgetown.Jacksonville ends its season at 22-4-1."We knew this was going to be a different match than the first time (3-0 Celina win over Jacksonville on Jan. 2 in Celina)," Celina Coach Alexander Adams said. "Number one, our team was different. We've had a lot of moving places and they've played a full season. We knew we couldn't put anything into the first matchup. We knew it was going to be tough. (Jacksonville) is really good. That 16 (sophomore Lauren Wade) is an excellent player. We focused on trying to limit her touches on the ball."Celina scored both goals in the first half.Holland found the net at 26:42 for a 1-0 lead, followed by her second goal at 10:51 that went under the top bar."It was very pressure-filled, because I wanted to prove that I belonged on this team," Holland said.Jacksonville's Victoria Villanueva and Sophia Romero just missed goals.Also, Jacksonville goalkeeper Emily Barrera made a nice save on a free kick by Payton Webb.Jacksonville Coach Colten McCown said he was proud of the season and the performance of his team.He noted seniors Kelcie Dominy, Evelyn Lara, Alexa Medellin, Victoria Villanueva, Elizabeth Nava, Mya Morales and Landry Harmel for "their commitment and dedication to the program."Celina is seeking their fourth straight trip to the state tournament and third consecutive state title.</div></body>
