my grandson was miserable in Pendleton Schools. The assemblies alone were depressing. Not allowed to clap, or cheer, or get excited for their peers during an awards assembly. It reminded me of "The Wall" pink Floyd. They send the children into the "corral" to watch T.V. in a large group, until the teachers are "ready" for them. you open your doors at 7:30 and you should be ready !
