As a 60s year old man I have experienced being homeless. 3 years ago. I was living here in Morgantown paying rent as a roommate and in short order was cast out on the street because the roommates accommodations were needed by someone else they felt better met their needs at the time. Didn't matter that I was paid ahead on the rent paid ahead on 1/2 of all the utilities. I was out, no place to go. slept on the street 2 nights. picked myself up, found a place to stay. All this time I continued to work. I didn't miss a day's work. The Bartlett house helped me and the church. I wasn't an addict or an alcoholic just homeless. No one should suffer homelessness.
