The citizens of Kirtland should prevent this rezoning. The landowners claim that they want the reduction of minimum acreage to benefit older residents is a load of manure. Smaller lots mean more dwellings mean more profits. The use of the term, elderly is a transparent attempt to gain sympathy for the project. They would have used babies or kids, or handicapped or orphans or fluffy puppies if they could make the narrative believable. Cramming more humanity into limited space is not good.
