If our tax dollars went where they were supposed to go, none of those kids would ever be charged for lunch in the first place. it is completely beyond me why we are charging learning children to eat at school?I am very happy for the district to receive the money to pay off the lunches for those families. Don't get me wrong. I just can't believe we're in that situation in the first place.
