Hmmm, public education.... the only industry where you can produce decade and decade of failure and still have the balls to ask for more money and give all the "leaders" a raise. They should be told no, just like children need to be told no! Better budget plan: cap all salaries at 75k (except teachers) and put all the left over money back into the budget. Do away with discretionary spending and make EVERY DOLLAR accounted for, right down to the nickel. Failing schools are led by failing admin. Most schools have a 30% or higher turnover rate. If you can't keep teachers, year after year, it is you boo! No other industry would allow managers to burn through staff like that.
