More cuts. Can 1 aide per room work? Do we need x amount of 1 on 1 aides could a group of 5 be created in some cases? What is the special ed teacher doing? Could they spend half their day teaching? Can admin expenses be cut? Could some people drop to a 9 to 2 schedule? These may not seem like much but 1000.00 here, 500 there, 7000 on that adds up. Instead of walking out in protest, sit down and write 10 ideas to cut the budget ..School nurse...9am to 2:30? All aides except 1 on one in at 9 out at 2:30? Can air conditioners be set on 70? Can some rooms have open windows?

Truth of the matter, the school budget got a huge boost with after COVID #. That has dried up, as many after covid programs have.. there is no way to substain the budget. The school spent it doing improvements? instead of saving it . Someone said a huge 70,000 TV In the lobby. Why does a school need a huge 7000.00 or 70,000 T.V. What these kids don't get is a huge budget means HIGHER TAXES ON THEIR HOMES FORCING SOME PEOPLE TO LEAVE IN SEARCH OF CHEAPER LIVING.. I know several who have purchased homes in Ti, Port Henry, Plattsburgh, Westport, Essex N.Y, . Looking to change schools your senior yr? There is No easy answer. but we as taxpapers cannot support that budget..1 place the budget could be cut is stop mowing the lawn every week, every 10 days = 3 X a month should work. Put some lights on a dimmer from 11pm to 5am. Half the inside lights and half the outside lights on all schools. Dim not turn off.
