why in the world would Jackson County Commissioners be getting the 2nd HIGHEST salaries in the State? Divide that up to reflect, and represent our full County by voting to add 2 Commissioners. That will help present Commissioners not be 'spread so thin', and give more representation to ALL areas of County, and therefore it's people.And, doesn't EVERYONE of voting age, that IS a Registered Voter have the right to vote to let their voices be heard? Of course they do! This is America- where EVERY registered voters right to vote and be heard is the biggest part of our Democracy! So, vote to make Commissioners race Non-Partisan-, so everyone's vote matters! They absolutely have the ability to state their position on any and all issues when campaigning for the position. They can let you know easily if they are conservative, liberal, moderate and we can vote accordingly as to our values aligning with theirs. Having the vote be Partisan based just shuts out too many voters rights.
