If he is the the best man for the job I haven’t got a problem with what he did in the past especially if it was dropped .However that being said ,I wouldn’t want to look over other qualified participants that could do a good job and have their community and kids at heart .In other words hiring because of diversity or any other lame choice to equal out a quota .Best man for the job gets it just like the old days when people were hired because of their skills and attitudes ,and how they react to different situations
