Can’t stand the area when it’s warm, flies bug the shit out of youThe farm land surrounding Harrisonburg is extremely polluted with chicken waste and runoff from poultry plants and farmsMost of the streams bottoms are covered in a gray/tan scum from agricultural runoff and are basically dead And DWR has no idea why the Shenandoah River and others in that region are constantly having fish kills and other things happening It’s like being told there’s a natural nitrogen problem on the South River in Waynesboro when there’s a large plant and tree nursery along the banks that’s been adding unnatural stuff to the river for decades Yet they continue to try to establish wild trout populations and wasting their time because young fish can’t develop fully functional gills in such conditions, 99% die in the first year

I'd like to know what the smell of death is that comes over McGaheysville some nights. Some say it's from the Coors plant...idk what it is but it smells like dead bodies&the smell only happens at night and not every night. Please research this.
