I knew immediately from reading the first part of the article the problem is that they are lottery winners. The salary that you have to qualify to enter the lottery is ridiculous and the rent is not cheap. Treating the tenants like they are second class citizens.

damn shame what is the point of having these lotteries for the salaries they are asking for and not cheap rent at all comes with all of these problems. this city is a joke. there is no such thing as affordable housing in nyc lottery or not. just saying
