Lifeguards are only human and can make mistakes. Glad her friend was ok, if you have seizures or other medical conditions, maybe swim with a friend so they can be another set of eyes just in case. Anyway, I am grateful to lifeguards, they are in the heat all day and they save countless lives every year.
