It still wouldn't make abandoning babies any better, but SINCE WE KNOW this is something that is already happening, why don't why find a way to put those newborn safe haven dropoff box in high crime areas/ areas where abandoned babies are found frequently? The outcome for the newborn will be a safer one, and the mother won't feel like she has to take desperate measures if a legal and safe one is readily accessible
