they gave my son 28 years in Webster parish.after a fight had broken out and gunfire rang out he and a so called friend returned fire in self defense. My son still has a bullet in his legand his so called friend only got 5 years for accessory after the fact. the witness statements were all over the place and even identified the shooter as someone that didn't look like my son and that someone that looked like my son ran for cover behind a vehicle after being shot. not to mention they couldn't process the scene till the next morning because of their cameras. the wind was blowing and they had to put the markers and casings where they thought they were and someone has already moved one of the victims bodies before the police arrived. I don't have the money to hire a lawyer so he got a public pretender and she didn't even try to get him convicted of self defense or a deal like his codefendant got. someone needs to look into it.. I would appreciate any help
