Sony just launched a Back to School Sale on several of their PlayStation products, including their consoles. The PS5 Slim Disc Edition has dropped to $449.99 from its $500 MSRP and the PS5 Slim Digital Edition has dropped to $339.99 from its $450 MSRP. These deals will all expire on August 5.

As reported last week in even mainstream outlets like CNBC, Nintendo reported drops in net sales and net profit. Revenue dropped to 246.6 billion yen, compared to expectations of 289.61 billion yen. Meanwhile, profit dropped from 80.9 billion yen compared to expectations of 70.73 billion yen.

Microsoft has revealed the first batch of games heading to Xbox Game Pass in August 2024. In an Xbox Wire post, Microsoft confirmed Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, Mafia: Definitive Edition, and Creatures of Ava will be added to the subscription service. All of these will be available to subscribers via PC, Xbox, and Xbox Cloud Gaming (if you are an Ultimate tier subscriber).
