Publisher eastasiasoft is releasing Cattie on the Switch today. The title is priced at $5 and takes up just 53 mb of space. Get ready for platforming action of the retro kind as you take the role of a nimble kitten named Cattie! Run, jump, hop from wall to wall, crouch, pounce and swipe at enemies as you make your way through side-scrolling pixel art pixel art stages with feline precision. Inspired by genre classics of the ’80s, Cattie is presented in minimalistic black-and-white style and fluid 2D animation.

City Connection will release shoot ’em up Under Defeat for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Switch on December 5 in Japan, the company announced. The PlayStation 5 and Switch versions will be available both physically for 4,950 yen and digitally for 3,980 yen, while the PlayStation 4 version will be digital-only. An 8,800 yen limited edition will also be available, which includes a special box, fan book, and soundtrack CD.

Microsoft has revealed the first batch of games heading to Xbox Game Pass in August 2024. In an Xbox Wire post, Microsoft confirmed Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, Mafia: Definitive Edition, and Creatures of Ava will be added to the subscription service. All of these will be available to subscribers via PC, Xbox, and Xbox Cloud Gaming (if you are an Ultimate tier subscriber).
