CrossCode Developer Announces Alabaster Dawn, Enters Early Access in Late 2025

Following an impressive gameplay trailer last year, Pearl Abyss’s Crimson Desert is coming to Gamescom. A playable demo will be available for attendees from August 21st to 25th from 9 AM to 8 PM CEST at the developer’s booth in the Koelnmesse Exhibition Center. It also outlined what players could expect from the demo in a new press release.

Japanese developer aNCHOR has announced Muv-Luv Tactics, a tentatively titled strategy RPG set within the cult classic Muv-Luv mecha franchise. Details like a release date and release platforms for Muv-Luv Tactics weren’t confirmed, however an official Twitter/X account and a Discord server were launched. A crowdfunding campaign is planned to make the game.

Last month Pearl Abyss declared Crimson Desert not dead with word of a playable demo of the “open-world action adventure” RPG at Gamescom 2024, simply stating that the game – which we presume still has some multiplayer-optional elements going by PA’s own comms – will be on the show floor. The developer has now followed up that news with a bit more information, and it looks as if this demo will have a perhaps unsurprising single-player focus.
