Wow some one really LOVES Tony White. Must be getting a kick back. I live in Delta Junction and volunteered on the Delta Squad back in 2006-07. We used to do in house training, hiring medical professionals to train our EMT’s and EMT 2’s. The cost was less than sending one person to UAF. ($6000) You don’t need a degree to be a EMT, just a class, practical training, then testing. Then they ride with a mentor/trainer just like they would if they went to UAF. The problem is with the city council and lack of backing to the Delta Squad.
