'It's a double-edged sword': KETV Investigates teacher pay in Nebraska

Too bad the people in charge don’t value the true value of teachers and pay them accordingly. In fact, babysitters make more per child than teachers do. Teachers are having to pay, at times, for their own classroom supplies, as they are told there is no money in the budget. We need to support our teachers and schools. After all, they are in part, raising the people of our future.

also, have you ever noticed that the NEA and media types are so quick to point out low pay but when you search student performance, it's all crickets and unavailable data?
