I never met Ronald Newbern, Dave’s dad, but knowing him and his boys makes me know that his dad was something special. Besides turning him into a hot rodder, which is cool enough, he also helped shape him into a really good human being and that’s really what matters. Unfortunately, Ron recently passed away, but I’m sure he would have been thrilled with the send off that Dave, his family, and his friends put together.
