Here, we go again with these Marxist leaders wanting private industry to bow to their demands. It has nothing to do with oil refinery levels here in California. It has everything to do with Newsome slamming down on an industry he perceives to be his enemy. He forces summer and winter blends of gasoline to reduce California's "carbon footprint." Being anti-oil, why would they invest anymore money in infrastructure to meet his demands? It's a fools errand. Stop with your "work arounds" and address the issue head-on. You want to relieve us of our pain at the pump? reduce your overtaxation of our fuel, and open up drilling. You're a millionaire Newsome, and while you've been our governor, have you consistently purchased your own fuel, your own food, and paid your own utilities? Or have we the taxpayer covered your a**?

Beware the propaganda machine. $650 million may seem like a lot of money, but look at the math! $650 million dollars, divided by the 33 million cars registered in CA, (not counting all the vehicles traveling through), comes out to about $19.64 per registered vehicle, or $1.63 per month per vehicle. Not a lot of savings.
