Why wouldn’t you already have them out all summer ? They say hummers have a map in their brain of every feeder. So every year they come back looking for those feeders. Please clean them every 3 to 5 days with a brush to get any mold that might grow in the holes and dish. They also say that a tiny speck of mold can get caught in their tongue tubes (don’t know what else to call them ) they will starve to death slowly if this happens. They also can run into windows and glass door as their zooming playing tag. Not really tag but that’s what I call it. They are really starting to be territorial this time of season and do not want to share their feeders lol. I had one just an inch above my head today that I could feel his wings on my head. Their awesome little blessings.
