Some of you really need to educate yourself before posting or praising Abbott! Currently, Abbott intercepts government money from the disasters and puts it in an interest bear account through the office of Health and Human Services. Unknown to the disaster victims, Abbott does not give out the FEMA funds until it has been in the State of Texas account for a minimum of 2 months and some people still don't know where their money is, from FEMA. It's all under the control and supervision of Abbott. Is it criminal? You tell me. 1,000's are waiting for assistance and Abbott has intercepted their funds and is sitting on it, so he can put the interest in whatever he likes. Politicians gave him the power to do that. So please, spare me all this praise for Abbott, who's hurting disaster victims and people in need!
