First, and foremost. Knowledge of specific languages isn't necessary. If you have any experience with any type of "C-ish" (this includes ++ or **), you can program in these languages. These jobs will one day be gone - AI. The biggest talent is the ability to develop algorithms. As an aside, I would urge the ability to use Assembler, but that's just the traditionalist in me.
