Amazon’s massive fantasy series, The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power is set to kick off its second season on the streaming service on August 29. The prequel takes place thousands of years before the events of the J. R. R. Tolkien novels The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings, though there are some familiar faces, including Sauron, Galadriel, Elrond, and even an unnamed character who is most likely (definitely) Gandalf.
