I wish they wouldn't write this as if the ID law just went into effect. If you didn't know about it, maybe you should vote more often. As for the voter purge, the affected folks were contacted by mail (as per the last known address on the voter list) that they were going to be deleted if there was no response. It's not up to the board of elections to chase people down if they move and don't update their address. If someone finds that they have been deleted and wants to vote, they have until October 7th to re-register using their current info.
