This week’s most read books on Goodreads have some familiar author names — in fact, they’re all titles that have been on the most read list many times before. The order is shuffled a bit from last week, but to add a more variety, I’ve included the top five most read books on Goodreads last week in three countries around the world. This time: Denmark, Malaysia, and Portugal. Denmark’s and Portugal’s most read titles this week are both not (yet?) available in English.

Weather forecasts still had a lot of us firmly in the 80s and 90s, temperature-wise, and outside was giving more iced tea than pumpkin spice.

In my first attempt to address the subject of my young husband’s suicide, the story I wrote bore no resemblance to the reality of his death, or to my own life. I thought this was what creativity was all about. It’s a new week, so it’s time to take a look at the bestsellers lists! The titles that appear on all five of the biggest lists will be familiar to you: two are by Colleen Hoover and one is by Sarah J. Maas. We do have some new appearances furhter down the list, though, including Shameless: Republicans’ Deliberate Dysfunction and the Battle to Preserve Democracy by YouTuber and podcaster Brian Tyler Cohen and Men Have Called Her Crazy: A Memoir by artist Anna Marie Tendler. The other new release is Born of Blood and Ash by Jennifer L. Armentrout, the fourth and final book in the Flesh and Fire series, which started with A Shadow in the Ember.
