the Officer acted appropriately. if he eould have retrieved his 40mm from the trunk as the attorney suggests, the Officer/ city would have been sued because he would then have escalated the situation. video shows the Officer was just talking to the suicidal person. no weapons out, that is de- escalation! ambulance chasing attorneys make sure no PPB Officer can do anything right. when will the citizens of this city hold criminals accountable? the tax payers/ city insurance gave his family over 1 million and I'm guessing he didn't matter to them until he was worth something. the city should fight this verdict.
