Ridiculous why? As a Inter Miami fan, all he has done this year is cash checks, he's played 12 games with the team, everytime he has left for international duty he gets injured because he can't compete at that level anymore. Their are younger stronger players in Europe that are better than he is today. This takes nothing away from what he has done in the past but the future is now and he's not at that level anymore. It happens to every great athlete. He's not even the best player in the MLS, oh wait he's not even the best player on Inter Miami right now. What they should do it take his salary and split it between Suarez and Alba they have been much better for Miami than Messi has. The glory days are over my friends accept it. He's no longer deserving of the award.
