Emergency resolved on north side of Fall Creek Falls State Park

Law enforcement said an emergency was resolved at the north side of Fall Creek Falls State Park on Wednesday.

Authorities said there were no injuries after a two and half hour standoff with negotiating deputies.

"We would like to thank the following for their outstanding assistance and support," the Van Buren County Sheriff's office.

According to the Van Buren district attorney, a woman was with a man at a home just outside of the park and was beaten by the man. She managed to get away and run into the park.

Hostage negotiators had to be called out for the man who remained inside the home. After negotiations, he turned himself in.

It's been a minute since I've had to buy diapers (thank goodness!) for my boys. But when I recently purchased a pack for a baby shower - I was SHOCKED at the price.
