    ‘All eyes’ on Iran as US sends sub to Middle East: Retired general

    ( NewsNation ) — U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin ordered a nuclear submarine to the Middle East and told an aircraft carrier strike group to sail there more quickly as fears of a wider conflict in the region increase. Retired Lt. Gen. Richard Newton, a NewsNation senior national security contributor, says the situation is “very fluid” in the Middle East.
