(NEXSTAR) – Thousands have flooded into Chicago for the Democratic National Convention, including a handful of celebrities.
Here’s a look at the celebrities who have spoken or performed (or are scheduled to), or have appeared at the DNC in Chicago, as of Monday.
Steve Kerr
Head coach of the Golden State Warriors Steve Kerr took the stage Monday, delivering one of the more viral moments of the night after saying it was time to tell Trump “night night.”
Tony Goldwyn
The “Scandal” actor spoke Monday during the first night of the Democratic National Convention. Goldwyn previously backed Hillary Clinton’s run for the presidency in 2016 and has worked as a Democratic activist.
The singer-songwriter was scheduled to perform Monday night, but “raucous applause interrupting speaker after speaker” caused his appearance to be bumped, DNC officials said.
It’s unclear if he’ll get another chance during the DNC. Taylor had performed for former President Barack Obama’s campaign and the Biden administration , and he recently cast doubts about Trump’s chances in this election.
Jason Isbell
Jason Isbell, the multi-Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter, sang his song “Something More Than Free.” A self-described progressive , Isbell has long spoken out against Republicans.
The Republican strategist and co-host of ABC’s “The View” is scheduled to speak on Tuesday. Navarro has increasingly supported the Democratic Party in recent years, and, in a video posted to social media, called it “a mind-blowing moment” to support Harris.
Julia Louis-Dreyfus
It’s unclear if the “Veep” star will be at the main DNC event, but on Wednesday, Louis-Dreyfus will host an event in Chicago aimed at highlighting the “essential leadership” of female governors.
“I’m honored to host this conversation with America’s Democratic women governors while our party comes together to celebrate in Chicago,” Louis-Dreyfus said in a Tuesday announcement about the Democratic Governors Association (DGA) Women Governors Fund event.
Mindy Kaling
Known for her roles in “The Office” and “The Mindy Project,” Kaling is scheduled to take the stage on Wednesday. She has made appearances alongside Harris, including at a 2020 virtual Hollywood campaign event for President Biden.
Kerry Washington
The former “Scandal” star is scheduled to take the stage on Thursday. Washington, founder of the political activism organization Influence Change, which is focused on celebrities promoting civil activism, previously spoke at the Democratic National Convention in 2020.
There has been speculation of other celebrities making appearances at the DNC, like Charli XCX, who backed Harris earlier this year and called her “brat” — a resounding endorsement among young voters.
