A local deer hunter discovered the remains on private property and called authorities on Saturday, Sept. 7.

Vue disappeared in northeastern Wisconsin in February. He was last believed to be at the house of Jesse Vang, who was dating his mother, Katrina Baur.

Vang was watching Vue when he went missing, with Baur confirming the toddler had been with him for about a week for “ discipline .” Both Baur and Vang have been arrested and charged with child neglect since.

Search efforts by authorities and community volunteers have continued since his disappearance. In March, Vue’s blanket was found and a “ vehicle of interest ” was seized.

Anyone with information on Vue should call the Two Rivers Police tip line at 844-267-6648 or contact the Manitowoc County Crime Stoppers.
