    Live: Authorities to provide Gilgo Beach investigation updates

    ( NewsNation ) — The Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office in New York is expected to provide updates Monday about the case involving a man accused of killing six women over the course of 30 years near Gilgo Beach on Long Island.

    The district attorney’s office will host a news conference at 10 a.m. ET to provide new information about a Gilgo Beach homicide victim authorities have dubbed “Asian Doe.” NewsNation will livestream the news conference here.

    The man’s remains were found off Ocean Parkway in 2011. He was dressed in women’s clothing at the time, NewsNation affiliate WPIX reported.

    Authorities now have more accurate imaging of the man, officials told Newsday .

    Authorities are also expected to update the public as to the ongoing investigations being conducted by the Gilgo Beach Homicide Investigation Task Force.

    Architect Rex Heuermann is charged with murder in connection with the deaths of six women: Megan Waterman, Melissa Barthelemy, Amber Costello, Maureen Brainard-Barnes, Jessica Taylor and Sandra Costilla.

    He’s pleaded not guilty.
