    Michael Jordan’s home under contract after 12 years on market: Report

    HIGHLAND PARK, Ill. — After more than 12 years on the market and a significant price reduction, the mansion Michael Jordan put on the market on Leap Day 2012 has reportedly potentially found a buyer.

    The 56,000-square-foot property went under contract over the weekend, Crain’s Chicago Business reported . WGN has reached out to the longtime listing agent for confirmation and further details.

    Jordan originally listed the property for sale at $29 million but reduced the price to roughly $14.9 several years ago. The home, known as Legend Point, has nine bedrooms, more than a dozen bathrooms, a basketball court and what a 2013 auctioneer called a “gentleman’s retreat” — including the original doors from Chicago’s Playboy mansion.
