A mother who was arrested at Disney California Adventure Park after failing to show her ID to police officers at the theme park is speaking out on social media.

According to the Anaheim Police Department, Jessenia Diaz, 26, of Torrance, was taken into custody and cited for obstructing a peace officer for refusing to provide identification.

A video of Diaz and her two daughters being escorted out of the park quickly went viral on social media. In the video, one of her daughters screams, “Ayudeme,” Spanish for “help me.”

Disneyland officials told KTLA that the woman allegedly tried to bring her children into the park without paying for tickets. Officials said the woman was uncooperative with Disneyland Resort security teams, and the Anaheim Police Department was later engaged.

On TikTok, Diaz, who posts under the username Diaz.v8, shared that what has been posted online is “full of lies” and that she will share her side of the story soon.

The mother also threatened to file a lawsuit against Disneyland.

In another post, Diaz shared a clip of her two daughters riding a carousel at an outdoor shopping mall with the caption, “The worst way to end the month, thankfully my daughters are safe. I would die if anything ever happened to them.”

Disneyland allows children under the age of 3 to visit Disneyland or Disney California Adventure for free if they are accompanying a guest with a valid park ticket and theme park reservation.

Multiple media outlets have identified Diaz. NewsNation affiliate KTLA contacted the Anaheim Police Department for confirmation but didn’t hear back in time for publication.
