PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — Patients at Hasbro Children’s Hospital looked outside to see some of their favorite superheroes cleaning their windows.

Imagine pulling up the blinds to find Gotham City’s Batman or waving hello to your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. It’s the kind of thing you would think only happens in the movies.

But on Friday morning, members of Fish Window Cleaning transformed into superheroes, volunteering to make those dreams a reality for kids at Hasbro Children’s Hospital.

“The kids just get so excited to see a superhero right outside their window,” nurse manager Tracey Ginaitt said. “It takes them outside the hospital walls for just a few minutes and gives them a break from what they have going on.”

“It gives the kids a moment of joy from whatever they’re going through that day,” Fish Window Cleaning owner David Potter said.
