SALT LAKE CITY ( ABC4 ) — Authorities have sent out an advisory asking the public for help in locating a missing seven-year-old girl near Hill Air Force Base.

The girl has been identified by authorities as Mia Neves. She is described as having brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a white tennis skirt, a pink tank top with a butterfly cutout in the neckline, and a black and rainbow tie-dye hoodie with a peace sign and “Justice” written on it.

She was last seen at the Hill Air Force Base.

Neves is believed to be with her father, Jesse Neves. He is described as being five foot and six inches with brown eyes and black hair. It is believed he is driving a silver 2012 Mitsubishi Lancer with Utah license plate G991NK.

Investigators said the girl’s mother, Mandy Mendelkow, reported her daughter as missing on Wednesday night when she did not come home after a visit from Jesse Neves. Per court orders, Mendelkow has full custody of their daughter.

Anyone who sees either Mia or Jesse Neves, or may have information regarding their whereabouts, is asked to contact the police.
