( NewsNation ) — Former Dallas Police Officer Amber Guyger, who’s in prison for shooting a man she mistakenly thought was in her apartment, was denied parole, and won’t be eligible until 2026 to apply again. Guyger’s attorney, Toby Shook, joins “Dan Abrams Live” to discuss the case.

Why is it that she only got 10 years my husband got 30 for calling the police and making reports about harassment and he’s white so why did she get 10 years is it because she was a police officer

Because she killed a man in his own home, then attempted to cover it up. That's why she's still in prison. 10 years wasn't nearly enough time. Such injustice.
